We live in a time of great distress. This distress had been reflected into the subject matter of some of my previous artwork. However, events here and abroad have become so out of control that I felt the need to withdraw from doing any type of that work. Nature took its place. Nature has always been a constant for me. Whenever I am in nature, I feel it deeply. Still, it is impossible for me to convey and describe this in words. My words always fail to adequately describe this feeling I have when it comes to nature. The best I can do is to recreate the images of nature on paper or canvas.
